A Note From the couple
Miles Winter & Alyssa Kersey
Thank you for joining us in supporting some wonderful causes!
DDX3X Foundation (Miles’ Charity):
DDX3X Syndrome, first discovered in 2014, is a rare disease caused by a spontaneous mutation within a DDX3X gene. The DDX3X Foundation was created by parents of children diagnosed with DDX3X Syndrome to support existing research, education, and treatment programs focused on DDX3X Syndrome.
Greater Chicago Food Depository (Alyssa’s Charity):
The Food Depository is part of a united community effort working to bring food, dignity and hope to our Cook County neighbors. They act as the hub for a network of more than 700 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other programs.
Anti Cruelty Society (Boomer’s Charity):
Based in Chicago, The Anti-Cruelty Society is more than a shelter. They are a comprehensive animal welfare organization whose mission is to build a community of caring by helping pets and educating people.
