A Note From the couple
Michele Williams & Jason Jennings Just Married!
We feel incredibly grateful to have so much, but there are so many without basic necessities in life. In lieu of gifts, we hope you’ll consider donating to one of these incredible organizations.
While we’re celebrating our wedding with SO much food and drinks, there are millions of people in the world who don’t even have access to clean water. Many women and children spend up to six hours a day traveling to get small amounts of water for their family. Water.org is driving innovative solutions to empower and enable families around the world to get direct access to clean water.
Many of our friends and family have served, and we’re in awe of what our military does for us every single day. The Wounded Warrior Project is something near and dear to both of our hearts, and we’re passionate about the care and support this organization provides to the brave men and women who come home.
Speaking of heroes, let’s talk about the incredible men and women who compete in the Special Olympics. If you’re not familiar with this organization, Special Olympics is the world’s largest sports organization for children and adults with disabilities. They provide year-round training and competitions to 5 million athletes and Unified States Sports partners in 172 countries.
Those who know Michele know her as someone who is outspoken, fiercely independent and doesn’t easily take no for an answer (sorry, Jason!). Sadly, many women around the world aren’t yet able to enjoy those same freedoms. In countries affected by conflict and war, Women for Women International supports women by teaching them skills to earn and save money, improve health and well-being, influence decisions in their home and community, and connect to networks for support.
