Thank you so much for thinking of us. We love wedding registries, and have had a fun time contributing to our friends’ and families’ over the years. While we, too, are suckers for a good kitchen gadget, we have found that we already have most of the homewares that we need. Alternatively, we have selected two causes that are important to us, and a donation to them would be considered a meaningful gift to us:
While we feel very fortunate to be starting this next chapter of our lives with a solid foundation, there are many families across the world that cannot say the same. Please join us in making a donation to the International Rescue Committee, which provides foundations for families affected by humanitarian crises, political conflict, and natural disasters.
We also find protecting our world to be of paramount importance for all of us, especially now. You also have the option to donate to the Environmental Defense Fund, which provides non-partisan policy and action related to advancing the preservation of our magnificent planet.
