Continued efforts to ensure every child gets three meals a day, while tailoring the response to meet communities’ changing needs. With a special emphasis on seniors, Meals on Wheels’ programs are on the front lines every day, focused on helping the vulnerable older Americans who are the greatest risk amid COVID-19. The ASPCA’s top priority remains with the health and safety of their employees, clients and the animals they serve. While educating the public on what they may need to know about their pets in relation to COVID-19, the ASPCA is taking the necessary precautions to keep their employees and animals in their care safe while preparing for emergency situations like this one, where we see more and more animals being abandoned or left hungry.
