Dear Family and Friends,
As we prepare to move across the Atlantic, we are shedding our worldly possessions and we certainly don’t need more stuff! We feel so lucky to have everything we need to start our lives together. The Sierra Club Foundation promotes climate solutions, conservation, and movement building through a powerful combination of strategic philanthropy and grassroots advocacy.
Direct Relief is a nonprofit humanitarian organization that provides emergency medical assistance and disaster relief in the United States and internationally, including relief for the aftermath of Hurricane Ida in Louisiana and the earthquake in Haiti.
The ACLU’s mission is “realize the promise of the United States Constitution for all and expand the reach of its guarantees” for all people. The ACLU is active in every major civil rights issue in the US today, including reproductive rights, racial justice, immigration, and voting reform.
