Anjellicle Cats Rescue (ACR) is an all-volunteer registered 501c3 cat rescue committed to helping make New York a no-kill city. As one of the most active cat rescues in the 5 boroughs, ACR is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and adopting out homeless and abandoned cats, with a focus on shelter and community animals. Many of these felines are sick, injured or dismissed as unadoptable. Through a coalition of volunteers and caregivers, each rescued cat is welcomed with kindness and medical care into a foster home to prepare it for adoption into a permanent, loving home. Anjellicle Cats Rescue believes that no animal should be ill-treated and strives toward a day when awareness, education and compassion have replaced euthanasia as a solution to companion animal overpopulation.
Compassion without Borders brings brighter futures to animals in need on both sides of the border. We focus our efforts where the need is the greatest, but where animals are the very least likely to be helped due to financial, geographic, and cultural barriers.
Our programs include a dog rescue program from Mexico and the Central Valley, along with free veterinary wellness and spay/neuter clinics in underserved communities on both sides of the border. We also have a humane euthanasia program in Mexico, where we are actively working to stop electrocution, a common method of killing unwanted animals south of the border.
Save A Gato (SAG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare and care of the cats of Old San Juan through TNR, fostering, and adoption. Save A Gato manages the colony of cats on the Paseo del Morro and the rest of Old San Juan. SAG must stress the fact that we are not a shelter.Cats are trapped, and then sterilized, and vaccinated. Since many stray cats are feral and not adoptable, they are returned to their original colonies. SAG volunteers lovingly monitor the community cats and provide fresh food and water on a daily basis.
One of A Kind Pet Rescue is a non-profit organization founded in November 2005 and is funded by private donations. The organization is dedicated to saving animal lives, rescuing pets in imminent danger of euthanasia, spaying/neutering and adoption of homeless animals into appropriate, loving homes.
The mission of the Friends of Bastrop County Animal Shelter is to increase pet adoptions, promote spay/neuter, and provide funding to the Shelter to support the humane care and treatment of animals while in its care.
The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, and those that are being abused and neglected. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

We are a private, nonprofit animal welfare organization proud to be serving the people and animals of Yakima County for over 100 years. We practice and promote the humane treatment of animals through animal control services, pet adoption, humane education, information, referral and quality animal care.
