To support, educate, inspire and activate individuals to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in need and to, ultimately, stop the suffering, lower euthanasia rates, reduce the dumping and put puppy mills and backyard breeders out of business. We help many animals on the ground with rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing plus we share the love by distributing donated food, medicine and financial assistance to trusted individuals who dedicate time to help the homeless.
Furkids, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization that operates the largest cage-free, no-kill shelter in the Southeast for rescued cats and Sadie’s Place, a no-kill shelter for dogs. Furkids also operates one of the only facilities in the Southeast dedicated to the care of FIV positive cats.

As the only shelter in the area, we take in over 5,000 dogs, cats, horses, and other animals every year. Sometimes they are sick, injured, or starving. Sometimes they got lost and just need to be reunited with their family. Often, they are stray and just need a second chance.
Save the Chimps is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing permanent sanctuary for the lifelong care of chimpanzees rescued from research laboratories and retired from the entertainment industry and the pet trade.
