World Central Kitchen + Girls Who Code
2020 made existing challenges more acute, where grave inequality across society magnified the problems we already faced. World Central Kitchen works with partners globally to support communities in times of crisis or need with access to nourishing and reliable food. Since COVID alone they’ve served over 35 million meals in over 400 cities across the states. Girls Who Code works to empower young women with the confidence, support, and access to learn the skills necessary to participate in the technology industry. They’ve worked with over 300,000 girls in-person where more than half have been from underrepresented groups in tech. We are passionate about the work both of these organizations do and believe that this work will only continue to grow in importance and need.
