About
Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies
Founded in 1986, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization specializing in research and education that develops medical, legal, and cultural shifts benefiting the careful uses of psychedelics and marijuana for mental and spiritual healing.
In other words, we’ve dedicated the last 35 years to changing the way people think of, talk about, and consume psychedelics through research, education, and advocacy.
