We are a vegan 501(c)(3) farmed animal sanctuary where we rescue and provide life-long sanctuary to typically farmed animals in need. It is our mission to educate, help make connections, and inspire non-violence, peace, and reverence for all life.

To educate the public on the costs and responsibilities of adopting a retired K-9 Hero.
To help cover or offset all medical, food, and end of duty costs for retired K-9 Heroes.
4 Paws Rescue Foundation is dedicated to helping the cats and kittens trying to survive on the streets. Each year, we trap, neuter and return (TNR) several hundred cats. We take in the adoptable kittens and cats, get all of their vetting done and put them into foster care until they find their furever homes.
Because we do not operate out of a shelter or have a facility in which to house our adoptable cats and kittens, we rely heavily on fosters who open their hearts and their homes, offering lots of love and care until they find their furever homes. Once the foster families start working with kittens that have never been handled and tame them down, they blossom and flourish which makes them absolute sweethearts and able to be adopted out!
We show at Petco and we have heard time and time again how sweet and beautiful our kittens and cats are! That is because lots of love, time and patience is given to each kitty.
The Afiya Center (TAC) was established in response to the increasing disparities between HIV incidences worldwide and the extraordinary prevalence of HIV among Black womxn and girls in Texas. TAC is unique in that it is the only Reproductive Justice (RJ) organization in North Texas founded and directed by Black womxn.
At TAC we are transforming the lives, health, and overall wellbeing of Black womxn and girls by providing refuge, education, and resources; we act to ignite the communal voices of Black womxn resulting in our full achievement of reproductive freedom.
A Better Choice was founded in 1993 by a group of volunteers. We moved into our current location in 1996 next to a (now closed) abortion clinic at Central and Hillside. We continue to operate from this location, providing much needed pregnancy services and support. Over 50,000 pregnancy tests and compassionate conversations have occurred in our office. We began offering limited ultrasounds in 2002 thanks to generous donors and the Knights of Columbus, and have since provided over 3,000 sonograms performed by medical volunteers.
In 2018 we expanded next door into a second building completely devoted to our sonogram program. Although we are an independent non-diocesan ministry, Bishop Carl Kemme blessed our sonogram building at its grand opening. In 2020 we added a social worker to our staff to oversee resource management for our clients. We operate with a small staff and a large volunteer base and are supported entirely by generous donors from the loving pro-life community.
It is impossible to say just how many lives have been saved through our 27-year history, although the number is easily in the thousands – all thanks to God and the faithful individuals who have responded to His call to serve women and the unborn.
AIC Kijabe Hospital is a growing network of Kenyan hospitals and clinics that started in 1905 at the campus pictured above. Patients come because of a rumor that circulates far and wide, that God lives in Kijabe. They know their clinicians will provide honest, skilled care and also pray for their healing.
Friends of Kijabe is the U.S. based 501 (c) (3) partner of Kijabe Hospital, created to help individuals and foundations around the world support Kijabe Hospital’s mission to provide compassionate healthcare, excellent training, and spiritual ministry to God’s glory.
The Friends of Kijabe board includes the AIC Kijabe Hospital CEO, Finance Director, Medical Director, and volunteers with over 80 years of combined experience in Kenyan projects.
Friends of Kijabe donors are across the globe, many of whom visited, volunteered, or even grew up in Kijabe and have a special place for this mission hospital in their hearts.
