Exodus Ministries is a 501 (c) (3) non-denominational Christian organization established in 1985. We serve mothers from all ethnic backgrounds who have demonstrated a willingness to make positive changes in their life. These women are dealing with the residual pain of having been separated from their children for a long period of time and do not have the immediate financial resources to sustain their families. Exodus helps them and their families to become productive members of society by serving their spiritual and physical needs.
The Tahirih Justice Center is a national, nonprofit that has served over 30,000 immigrant survivors fleeing gender-based violence since 1997. Our interdisciplinary, trauma-informed model of service is now delivered from five locations, and we’re committed to serving as many immigrant survivors as possible.

STAR House Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Roswell, Georgia. We provide after-school tutoring and mentoring for at-risk children throughout North Fulton County. We currently serve children within three North Fulton schools, with a growing unmet need. Our summer camp is an extension of our after-school program, bridging the gap for elementary students by focusing on academic retention to combat summer learning loss. Providing this strong foundation gives local kids in need the opportunity to shoot for the stars!

Miriam’s Kitchen has an urgent and audacious mission and vision: to end chronic homelessness in DC. Every 3-5 years we update our strategic plan to drive our work and help achieve our vision. We know that we cannot achieve our mission without many others involved. Due to this, our strategic plans are adaptable so that we can be flexible and responsive to key stakeholders – from our guests to the DC Interagency Council on Homelessness and their city-wide plan to end homelessness.
In order to focus the work of each department, included in our strategic plan are specific priorities for the organization. The Strategic Plan and Priorities guide the development of our measures and annual targets in our Balanced Scorecard.
