If you didn’t see it already, The Good Beginning received a lovely little shout out in Forbes as a way to follow in the footsteps of Prince Harry and his new princess, Meghan Markle. We love that they chose to support seven charities near and dear to them through their wedding registry and love even more for what that says about the future of giving. While it’s easy to write it off as a wealthy couple who obviously doesn’t need anything tangible, we love to see people of influence setting a standard that The Good Beginning can help to make attainable for all couples. While many couples do need a toaster, espresso machine or new towels and many don’t, that’s not the point of giving back. Overall the point is to use your wedding as a time to begin a tradition of giving as well as making a statement of where your values will stand as a couple and someday as a family. We love seeing couples use their wedding to show the world who they really are and are excited to be a part of that process. So, congratulations Harry and Meghan! We’re so thankful you see our vision and can’t wait to see others follow suit!
