Thank you gifts can often be a doozy to send. You want something that’s a little bit different, still practical but also beautiful and for the recipient to actually love it. Believe it or not, it can be done!

Here are the three things I consider when curating the perfect thank you gift!

1. Thoughtful. This may seem like a no brainer but it actually requires a bit of effort. Take a moment to think about who you’re gifting. Acknowledging even the smallest detail from their favorite color, to meeting a need they didn’t even realize they told you they had. That’s what turns an exercise in good manners into a the ultimate experience of gratitude.

2. Timeless. There are certain items that will always stand the test of time. We love to a little something that’s indulgent, like a gourmet chocolate bar. Be sure to include an item they wouldn’t buy themselves – for this a luxury candle or handwoven linens will surely do the trick.

3. Conscious. Gifting is a unique opportunity to choose well. It’s one of the best times to shop local makers and seek items that positively impact the world. Many times just popping into your local market or even a well curated coffee shop will do the trick. On the flip side, your recipient will most certainly feel pride knowing their gift supported a great cause.

Bonus! Always wrap your gift + include sweet smelling dried lavender stems and never ever forget a handwritten note.
