We’ve added quite a few new organizations to The Good Beginning recently and we are excited to share a variety of our favorite organizations that are part of The Good Beginning. There are so many noble causes out there, however, we believe that keeping truth in journalism is crucial in the world today. We’ve done the hard work for you and researched some of the greatest truth in journalism organizations out there!

MISSION // Democracy Now! is a national, daily, independent, award-winning news program hosted by journalists Amy Goodman and Juan Gonzalez.
MISSION // TED is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world. On TED.com, we’re building a clearinghouse of free knowledge from the world’s most inspired thinkers — and a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other, both online and at TED and TEDx events around the world, all year long.
MISSION // To give a voice to the voiceless. Many charities do their work unseen by those who could help, and therefore are under resourced to maximize their impact. To help raise awareness and support the good that is happening in the world, we formed a non-profit to help raise awareness globally through film. Our work is simple, but the results are powerful. The films we make are platforms that enable non-profits to reach out to those who can help them achieve their mission. By giving our partners a voice we multiply their success. Now they can stand taller, shout louder and show the world the difference they’re making.
